so, if everything had gone as planned, i would, right now, be in holland michigan
visiting my sister and the rest of my wonderful family.
but, alas, the school is nearly quarantined.
a wild outbreak of the norovirus has struck.
and struck hard.
i was really looking forward to a weekend away.
and i miss my family. it's been a while
since we've seen each other. but now,
i'll just have to wait a few more weeks
'till we head up for thanksgiving.
nate mentioned yesterday how we should get in the car
and go somewhere tomorrow.
maybe get some Christmas shopping done.
i think we're traveling to cincinnati.
we've not done much in the way of fun trips for a while,
and it's only about a two hour drive.
we could use some adventure and crave excitment.
it'll be fun. i hope.
